Today  I got to look at chumash  artifacts it was reallyly  cool  and hard because there were lots of suggestions  but finally we did it there was horns of a deer that was the coolest and a brush they used to dust acorn  shells

Hello today I'm going to tell you about a project. Me and my friends are making
a poster to save the ocean and we are raising money to buy stuff to pick up trash
around the beach and that's how I'm  going to help the ocean.

On January 4th the whole class did art with a teacher named Mrs. Guzik but she read a story first
and then we painted our paper with primary and secondary colors. Then we painted the bottom of the paper with any color we want and then we read a book about being yourself
after we read abook we cleaned up and after that, we went to classroom. By Mya B

Today we had PE and I hurt my foot since I hurt my foot  I couldn't run. Is that a good thing or a

bad thing? we did air squats and we did laps around the basket ball court  and we played a game.

It was fun because we knocked the ball out of each other's hand's and then the whole class

On Wednesday 13, 2016 we played tug of war and our teacher tricked us into playing tug of war and it was actually science and group 2 won it was about balance and gravity at the end. Some of the boy's and some of the girls got into two sections and it was fun. The girls won!  by Maria S.

I just went to interview the principal. I was nervous at first, but when I got there it wasn't bad after all. We asked her questions about if we could help the environment be clean. She said yes. We also told her that we were trying to reduce plastic use in our school.  We asked if we could take away straws from the spork packet she said she would ask a lady named Lacy if we could order it without straws. by Phoebe

Today is Tuesday and we had a Chumash person in our class and his name was Marcus Lopez. He showed  us a lot of things that Chumash people do it was really fun because we sang some Chumash songs and we played some Chumash games it was really fun. by Maria S.

Our field trip to Museum of Ventura County

Today is Friday January 15, 2016 our class went on a field trip to the museum of Ventura county.Two new things I learned was that Chumash people use different kinds of instruments and there are sky animals . something else I want to learn about is how they build so long and my question is how they communicate with each other?
